Municipality: Zhelino | Target area: Trebosh village | Project name: Construction of the “Fan Noli” school stadium

The School Stadium Construction Project for Trebosh Village, Municipality of Zhelino, aims to bring a positive transformation to this beautiful village in North Macedonia and to its 2388 inhabitants. In this initiative, the main objective is the construction of a new sports field within the campus of “Fan Noli” Primary School. This sports field will be an important source of social engagement and physical activity for the school’s 576 students, as well as for the wider community of Trebosh.

The existing sports field is in a dilapidated condition after more than 20 years of use. The new project is a collaborative effort, with the support of the municipality, the local community and the business sector, highlighted by a collective commitment to improving the quality of life for the residents of the village.

The construction of the park will be carried out in five different phases, starting with the preparatory works, the preparation of the ground, the installation of the upper layer of asphalt, the targeting of the field and the installation of electricity. These phases will not only recreate the sports field, but also address the environmental concerns and impacts described. The execution of the project will respect the best environmental practices to minimize negative effects, such as land degradation, waste generation and potential pollution.

This project represents a commendable initiative that aims to improve the local community’s access to recreational areas, while ensuring respect and protection of the environment throughout the construction process.
