Training that empowers local actors in Tearce

On April 26 and 27, 2024, NB Hotel & Spa, in Tetovo, hosted an important training on advocacy research for local stakeholders. The training aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to conduct research that could serve as a basis for their advocacy efforts and promote positive developments in the community.

The training was attended by representatives from the Municipality of Tearce, local government officials, community leaders, as well as representatives of NGOs and youth clubs. Participants had the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions and practical exercises, learning about the importance of collaboration between formal and informal actors to meet local advocacy objectives.

This training had a specific focus on empowering participants to implement projects that meet community needs, using data-based and evidence-based advocacy. At the end of the training, participants left with a deeper understanding of the importance of research for advocacy, as well as the opportunities this method offers for the development of the Tearce community and for increasing the impact of this research.
