Roundtable in Saraj: Partnerships for Sustainable Community Development

On December 12, at the premises of the Social Impact Investments in Communities project, in the Municipality of Saraj, a roundtable was held with the participation of representatives of the private sector, the Mayor of the Municipality of Saraj, and the USAID Representative in North Macedonia, Mr. Kreshnik Grubi. This meeting served as an opportunity to discuss current and future developments in the municipality, including completed projects and new initiatives, and to emphasize the importance of cooperation between local government and the private sector.

The main points of discussion included updates on successful projects implemented so far, the progress of ongoing initiatives and their impact on the community, as well as opportunities for the development of new projects that will address the needs and priorities of the residents of Saraj. The mayor shared the objectives for the development of the municipality and highlighted opportunities for cooperation with the private sector, while CEOs of major local companies discussed the challenges and opportunities offered by the business environment and how they can contribute to the economic growth of the municipality.

This meeting was marked by the emphasis on the importance of building partnerships between key stakeholders to create shared values and contribute to the sustainable development of the community.
