Story

Municipality: Tearca | Target area: Odri village | Name of the project: Reconstruction of the elementary school “Odri”

We invite you to join an important initiative – the reconstruction of the windows in the “Odri” Primary School, which is located in the beautiful village of Odri, within the Municipality of Tearca. The village of Odri, with a population of 1175 inhabitants, experiences a direct impact from this initiative, including mothers and teachers, who will benefit from a better and healthier environment for teaching and learning.

This project aims to improve energy efficiency and build a better learning environment for students. The old windows should undergo an immediate reconstruction to guarantee the comfort and safety of the school community, toilets and other spaces.

The renovation project is scheduled to take place from September 2023 to March 2024 and includes the removal and replacement of old windows with energy-efficient ones, as well as the installation of natural gas piping for heating purposes and the reconstruction of toilets. The school, under the management of the Municipality of Tearca, will be responsible for the maintenance of the heating system.

This project also has an important impact in the ecological aspect, ensuring a more efficient use of energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, thus contributing to the protection of the environment. At the same time, the reconstruction of the windows will help maintain the internal temperature of the learning environment, creating a more pleasant and healthier environment for all staff and students.

Join us in this important initiative to ensure a better learning environment for future generations and improve the life of the school community in the village of Odri.
